Pages from the Middle Ages

By melding research, craft, and an interest in the medieval era I am attempting to recreate the art of medieval books and the joy of the craftsman (or craftswoman). As I wander through medieval pages, I am exploring the arts of papermaking, illumination, calligraphy, bookbinding, ink production, and quill cutting. My processes and progresses will follow.
