Stars in the Sun

Summer wanes, the sun slants & days grown shorter. A subtle prelude rides on the wind. These sun loving flowers have been giving a grand show, bowing to the great life giving Sun King. Soon they'll wither & acquiesce to even more brilliant colors, brazen & gilt. Until then, they will follow the light.
Sunflower (I planted these, not a native)

Beautiful Blooms of  Partridge Pea in our pastures,

A Bushy Brown-Eyed Susan

Golden Aster - I believe...

Sneezeweed - Oh wish a nicer name for this gorgeous flower

Lovely Bloom of Sneezeweed (Helenium Autumnale)
